Internship opportunity

CAWN is offering this internship opportunity to an enthusiastic and motivated individual, prepared to gain experience and become involved in all aspects of a women’s international organisation. The Research and Communication’s Assistant Intern will be expected to support the organisation in administrating the research and communication’s side of work, both at the national and international levels.

This position is for minimum 3 days per week -depending of candidate, and it is expected a time commitment of 6 to 9 months. Interns can claim back expenses for travel to and from CAWN’s office, up to £5.00 per day unless otherwise agreed.

Treasurer

CAWN is seeking a Treasurer to maintain an overview of the organisation’s affairs to ensure it is financially viable and that financial records and procedures are maintained. The treasurer will become a co-Director of CAWN and a member of our Management Committee (MC).

The Treasurer would be expected to give advice to staff and Directors over the phone if the need arises, respond to e-mails and meet with the Finance officer from time to time. We would expect a commitment of about 3-4 hours per month at the most for these routine matters.
