CAWN's network is made up of organisations and individuals who work on issues of gender and/or Central America. Our network includes NGOs, academics, freelance journalists and students from all over the world.

As an activist there are many ways for you to take action. You can take part in our marches, protests, events, meetings and debates, get involved with our speaker tours, organise your own events locally, research and write articles, contribute to our publications, or help us with translation as well as many other activities.

As an email network supporter we ask you to be prepared to take action on issues related to our work by distributing our information to any relevant contacts. You will receive electronic copies of all our publications as soon as they are published as well as regular updates and e-bulletins about CAWN's work.



fundraise for CAWN!

Are you interested in supporting CAWN’s work with Central American women? Why not contribute by throwing a dinner party or coffee morning, holding a quiz night, organising a clothing exchange party, hosting your own walk, selling CAWN t-shirts, or charity festival-going with donations going to CAWN? We are more than happy to assist you so contact us if you would like to lend your support, need a speaker from CAWN at your fundraising event, or could do with any other fundraising ideas.

Run a half marathon on 22nd June to support abused women in Central America!

Lace up for a flat run through one of the greenest boroughs in London: Hackney. Breeze your way past the  Hackney Empire, and catch your breath and follow in the footsteps of legends through the iconic Queen Elizabeth Olympic Park.

CAWN will provide you with fundraising support and a free CAWN T-shirt, as well as with refreshments on the day. For further information and to register email us to by Monday 9 June 2014.
