After the positive community response to our November 2009 Seminar Series, CAWN is now revamping its volunteer program and we would love you to be involved!
Through a new approach, CAWN volunteers will work on an ‘on call’ basis. We are looking to establish teams which will be contacted as needs arise and can often work from home. Volunteers can apply for whichever team best fits their interests, availability and skills. And of course, volunteers can also request to be involved with multiple teams. Volunteer 'teams' include 'On-Call Translation, Writing Aritcles (ongoing), 'On-Call' Events, Research (ongoing), 'On-Call' Interpreters, and 'On-Call' IT Support.
To read more about these volunteer opportunitiesclick here. To volunteer, fill out the volunteer skill assesment, included in the attached document, and email it to info@cawn.org.
